LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Aug, 2026) Secretary Local Government and Community Development Punjab Zaid Bin Maqsoodchaired a meeting at the DC Office Lahore to review progress on Suthra Punjab Programme,Lahore Development Plan and Punjab Development Programme. Deputy Commissioner Lahore Capt (retd) Muhammad Ali Ejaz, Director General SuthraPunjab Umar Javed and Project Director Punjab Development Programme Shahid ZamanLak attended the meeting, while deputy commissioners of all districts and managingdirectors of Suthra Punjab participated through video link. The deputy commissioner gave a detailed briefing on the Lahore Development Plan,while the DG Suthra Punjab and Project Director Punjab Development Programme briefedthe meeting on progress under their respective programmes. Regarding the Punjab Development Programme, the Secretary said the most criticalcomponents should be completed on a priority basis. The Secretary Local Government Punjab directed all concerned to ensure achievementof targets set under the programmes and further improve the provision of developmentand municipal services in accordance with the directions of Chief Minister Punjab.
