On Sunday August 9 from 2 PM – 6 PM school children in Borgne, Haiti will benefit from Dipper Dan’s generosity, Scoops for Schools. In April after many years that have prevented travel to/from Haiti, Johnny Estimable visited Honeoye Falls to thank Honeoye Falls for supporting the Borgne children. For the fifth year, any ice cream bought will result in a donation to benefit education in Borgne Haiti, Honeoye Falls Sister City. Friends of Borgne, a local non-profit, has supported education in Borgne, Haiti forthirteen years with the help of Honeoye Falls residents through the Honeoye Falls/Borgne sister city partnership. In addition, Village Mayor, Rick Milne, will speak about the Honeoye Falls/Borgne Sister City connection.
