Aspen City Council Members Christine Benedetti and Sam Rose are inviting community members to come say hello at the city’s community booth this Saturday, Aug. 15, during the Aspen Saturday Market. Rose and the city’s engineering department will be at the booth from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. to share information about multimodal transportation and e-bike safety, according to a press release. Benedetti and staff from the Wheeler Opera House will be at the booth from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.Everyone is welcome to visit the booth to ask questions, share ideas or to discuss topics of interest, such as the upcoming Armory Food Hall, Aspen’s Strategic Plan and ways to keep in touch with local government.
