Essay-writing competition held at Quaid-i-Azam Academy

KARACHI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Aug, 2026) An essay-writing competition was held at the Jinnah Hall and library of the Quaid-i-Azam academy among students of various colleges and universities as part of celebrations marking the 150th birth anniversary year of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day on Tuesday.
The competition was organised by the Quaid-i-Azam Academy under the National Heritage and Culture Division of the Government of Pakistan and attracted a large number of male and female students.
The panel of judges comprising Prof. Muhammad Ali, Prof. Abdul Hadi and Prof. Shabnam Aman, accompanied by Quaid-i-Azam Academy’s Director Zahid Hussain Abro and Abdul Majid Farooqui, visited the Jinnah Hall and Library and reviewed the ongoing competition.
They recalled that Quaid-i-Azam had given the nation three golden principles, faith, unity and discipline and said adherence to these principles could help the country overcome its challenges.
He announced that students who secured prominent positions in the essay-writing competition would be presented with prizes and certificates at a ceremony to be held soon.
