PM reaffirms gov’t commitment to developing stock market performance

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly reaffirmed the government’s commitment to developing the performance of the stock exchange, enhancing its stability and protecting investors across non-banking financial sectors.
The meeting was attended by Investment and Foreign Trade Minister Mohamed Farid Saleh, Financial Regulatory Authority Chairman Islam Azzam and Egyptian Exchange Chairman Omar Radwan.
The Premier welcomed positive developments on the Egyptian Exchange, particularly a rise in average daily trading value to LE15 billion (US $304 million) and market capitalization exceeding four trillion LE.
