A 64-year-old Islip Terrace man drowned in his backyard pool Sunday afternoon, marking the second Long Island pool death this weekend. A friend called 911 after discovering Seamus McGuickian unresponsive in the above-ground pool at his home on Irish Lane about 3:15 p.m. McGuickian was pulled from the water and pronounced dead at the scene.
