Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty reaffirmed Egypt’s full solidarity with Lebanon to preserve its sovereignty, unity, territorial integrity and national institutions. Abdelatty underlined the importance of maintaining the negotiating track and building on progress made during the latest round to achieve tangible results that respect Lebanon’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. The top Egyptian diplomat emphasized that Lebanese state institutions should remain the framework for managing the country’s affairs and safeguarding its stability. For his part, Rajji expressed appreciation for Egypt’s steadfast support for Lebanon, praising Cairo’s continued backing of the Lebanese state and its institutions. Rajji also affirmed Lebanon’s keenness to maintain coordination and consultations with Egypt on issues of common concern.
