A “Linen, Loafers & Heels” theme brought visitors to the Magnolia Food Market & Bar for its latest First Friday event, giving businesses inside the shared market another opportunity to turn event-night traffic into returning customers. Some First Friday visitors return for other activities at Distill and the Magnolia throughout the week. The bar regularly develops new drinks and can use larger events to showcase selections that have already become favorites among its regular customers. Brown said the business uses recurring events such as Thirsty Thursdays and Sunday Tea Sessions to give customers additional reasons to return after larger events have ended.
