Jim Plueger, the owner of Helping Hands Donation and Thrift Store, told KLEM that their goal is to provide good nutritional meals for students in need. Starting now, anyone can stop at Piece of Cake or Helping Hands Donation and Thrift to donate items for the drive, with all items available for those in need. They worked with the hospital foundation and local Lions clubs to get donations for the cameras and also got a 38-thousand dollar donation from Lions International. Steve Rehmann is the past district governor of the Northwest Iowa Lions clubs and says every one contributed to the project. The hospital expects to use the equipment on the 100 babies who are born there each year.
