Caroline County Public Schools opened nominations for the 2026 Legacy Awards on Aug. 1. The Legacy Awards will include a Hall of Fame and a Hall of Distinction this year. The Hall of Fame portion of the awards recognizes outstanding accomplishments and contributions in athletics. Also, alumni of Ladysmith High School are establishing the Ladysmith Alumni Association. Organizers are welcoming anyone who attended Ladysmith High from 1969-77 to participate and join the alumni association.
