Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — American Samoa’s NOAA Hollings and EPP/MSI Scholars traveled to Washington, D.C. to present their summer research at the NOAA Education Science and Education Symposium. Talofa Fe’a (EPP/MSI) presented her work on understanding Ciguatera in American Samoa for which she received the award for the outstanding oral presentation, while Ella Ashford (Hollings) presented about using ROVs and photogrammetry to monitor coral reefs.
