They bought their dream home in Cold Springs in February and are scheduled to be married in September. But Sunday brought a devastating turn when the Bug Fire moved down the canyon near their home. They were left with their cars and about a weekend's worth of clothing. Brendon's birthday is Monday, Aug. 10, and Chanlee's birthday is Tuesday, Aug. 11. The couple had moved 25 chickens, three goats, two dogs and one cat to safety the day before.
