Rose Wilderness area with no road access, is now 30 percent contained, according to a post on Facebook from the U.S. Forest Service. Four rappelers were inserted, and they were supported with some engines and worked through the night. An air attack, tankers and a helicopter worked the fire Saturday morning and will continue through the night depending on conditions. The Michael D. Thompson Trailhead (Hunter Falls) is closed until further notice.
