The sign beckons diners to the Pizza Hut Classic in Louisa County. Kilmarnock and Louisa County are both home to a Pizza Hut Classic, a version of the chain restaurant that’s a culinary blast from the past. Businesses change over time, though, and Pizza Hut eventually decided to move away from the Classic concept. One of my editors also was glad to hear that Pizza Hut is still doing the BOOK IT! Sean Farrell, manager for Daland’s Virginia District, even told me the thin-crust pizza I still eat at Pizza Hut in 2026 was actually the first kind the chain sold.
