A Thompson man is accused of stealing more than $33,000 from a local church while he was overseeing a rebuilding project, according to an arrest warrant. WATCH HERE WATCH HEREHall joined Thompson Congregational Church to help with fundraising efforts and grant writing sometime between 2018 and 2020. He eventually gained the title "Rebuild Committee Chair," the warrant stated. According to the warrant, Hall improperly withdrew money from church accounts and deposited the funds into his own accounts or accounts belonging to his Texas-based company, Eureka Inventing, LLC. The warrant stated that between April and September 2025, Hall withdrew approximately $33,732.92 from financial accounts belonging to Thompson Congregational Church.
