Former River Global fund manager duo George Ensor and Mayan Uthayakumar will join Jupiter from Liontrust, it has been confirmed. Ensor, manager of the River UK Microcap trust, announced his resignation from the firm last month. Commenting on the departure, a Liontrust spokesperson said: “Liontrust will be announcing replacements for George Ensor and Mayan Uthayakumar in the next few weeks. Ensor joined the River Global team in 2014 as a UK equity analyst, before becoming a portfolio manager in 2018. Over the course of his career, he managed the Liontrust UK Listed Smaller Companies, Liontrust Institutional UK Listed Smaller Companies and Liontrust River UK Micro Cap Limited funds.
