Connecticut is the place to visit, according to new tourism numbers from the state. The Office of Statewide Marketing and Tourism released the Annual Tourism and Economics report Thursday. WATCH HERE WATCH HEREAbout 72 million people visited Connecticut last year, a 3% increase from 2024. Visitors spent $12 billion in 2025, a 6% increase from the year prior. Arling partially attributes the increase to Connecticut residents choosing to stay in the state for vacation, saving on gas and flights by finding paradise a short drive away.
