Charges expected in serious e-bike Crash in Kitchener

A serious collision in Kitchener involving a vehicle and an e-bike is now under investigation through Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS), which said charges are expected.
Officers said the crash involved a Honda SUV and an e-bike.
While the driver of the vehicle, a 34-year-old Stratford man, wasn’t hurt, the driver of the e-bike, a 33-year-old Kitchener man, had to be sent ot hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
The severity of the collision led to a multi-hour closure on the roadway as the investigation got underway, but it reopened later that evening.
As of now, no charges have been laid in connection with the incident, but WRPS has stated that they are expected to come.
