A bank robber from Sanford allegedly escaped from custody in Manchester, New Hampshire, last month, prompting a federal indictment handed down on Wednesday. The indictment alleges that, on July 18, D’Angelo escaped federal custody when he left the Hampshire House Residential Reentry Center in Manchester, NH, without permission. D’Angelo was sentenced in 2014 to 15 years in prison followed by three years of supervised release following a federal bank robbery conviction. During the robbery, he approached the teller, demanded cash, and threatened to set off a bomb if the teller refused to comply.
