Flights at DCA to stop due to Freedom 250 Grand Prix

Federal authorities will pause flights at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport for the Freedom 250 Grand Prix race this month.
WATCH HERE WATCH HERE“The FAA has been planning and coordinating with stakeholders to help ensure the safe and efficient movement of air traffic during Freedom 250 events.
As part of that effort, the agency will implement traffic management initiatives at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA),” they said in a brief statement Monday.
The flight pause times are subject to change, the FAA said.
The Freedom 250 Grand Prix will be held the weekend of Aug. 22-23 on a 1.7-mile course on the streets in front of the U.S. Capitol and along the National Mall.
