(NASA/Bill Ingalls)If there are clear skies over the Cariboo this week, stargazers are in for one of the sky’s best shows of the year – the Perseid meteor shower.
The Perseid meteor shower occurs every year from mid-July to August.
The Prince George Astronomical Observatory will host a public viewing of the annual Perseid Meteor Shower from Aug. 13 to 15.
Following the presentation, visitors will have the opportunity to observe the Perseid meteor shower and other celestial objects through the Observatory’s telescopes, weather permitting.
