NHT’s Howard Avenue Apartments Deliver Over 240 New Housing Solutions for JamaicansMore than two hundred and forty Jamaicans are set to benefit from new housing solutions following the official handover of the National Housing Trust’s (NHT) Howard Avenue Apartments in St. Andrew. The development, delivered through a partnership between the NHT and Centauri Real Estate Company Limited (CREC), includes five units which will be allocated under the NHT’s social housing programme. “These five units here will be part of the NHT’s programme of social housing. It is distinct from the New Social Housing Programme in the Ministry of Economic Growth and Infrastructure Development, where the houses pass on to generations. In this NHT’s social housing programme, the house will not pass on to generations; it will remain in the pool.”
