A man accused of snatching jewelry from a woman in Brickell was chased down and held by a good Samaritan who witnessed the theft and was pepper-sprayed by the suspect, police said. The victim ran after Dogan while yelling for help and that's when the good Samaritan started chasing after him, the report said. As the good Samaritan caught up, Dogan pepper-sprayed him in the face, but the Samaritan was able to chase down the suspect and hold him, the report said. Video posted by Only in Dade showed the good Samaritan laying on top of the suspect as he waited for officers to arrive, who took him into custody. The good Samaritan was treated by fire rescue for the pepper spray.
