A woman has been arrested on a murder charge in connection with the fatal shooting of a man inside a car in Fort Lauderdale last month, police said. Candacia Cyneise Walker, 33, was arrested Thursday on a first-degree murder charge in the July 8 shooting of 32-year-old Mike Menard, according to Fort Lauderdale Police and Broward jail records. Back-to-back gunshots were heard in the background, and before that, a man was seen running up to the victim’s car with a gun. Police haven't explained how Walker was connected to the shooting or said if any other arrests have been made.
