A suspect who led a pursuit in Miami Gardens while shooting at officers was arrested after the chase came to an end on Monday morning, according to the Opa-locka Police Department. Opa-locka Police said their officers were assisting the Miami Gardens Police Department during "an active vehicle pursuit involving a subject connected to a felony investigation." Miami Gardens Police Chief Delma Noel-Pratt said just before 10 p.m. Sunday, officers got a call about shots fired into the home. Police chased the suspect to Opa-locka, where a Miami Gardens officer was involved in a crash in the area of Northwest 22nd Avenue and Northwest 135th Street.
