Local veterans’ organizations continue their support of the Minnesota Veterans Home – Fergus Falls and its residents through generous donations. The Fergus Falls DAV supports many other veteran-related organizations in the area. Wilkin County Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 2766 donated $20,000 to support the start of a fundraising campaign for a new transport van for the Fergus Falls Veterans Home. The home’s current transport van is used daily to transport residents to medical appointments locally and regionally. “We’re so grateful to both DAV Fergus Falls Chapter 25 and Wilkin County VFW Post 2766,” says Gary Harris, director of Public Affairs and Development at the Fergus Falls Veterans Home.
