The meeting follows the completion of the first year of AAID implementation in 2025. It will also provide policy direction on development financing and review and endorse national development priorities for 2027. The committee is also expected to provide policy guidance for the development of an integrated AAID financing framework and a National Development Cooperation Policy. A High-Level Communiqué outlining strategic priorities, coordination mechanisms and commitments for the 2026–2027 period is also expected to be adopted. The ARREST Agenda for Inclusive Development is the Boakai administration’s national development framework, focusing on Agriculture, Roads, Rule of Law, Education, Sanitation and Tourism as key pillars of the Government’s development program.
