While the evacuation orders for the properties in the Quilpituk Creek wildfire area will remain in place, the Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) is finalizing re-entry planning to support a safe and coordinated return home. ______ORIGINAL:The Quilpituk Creek wildfire remains out of control, with afternoon winds potentially increasing activity later in the day on Aug. 10. As part of the Bradley Creek wildfire complex, there are currently 129 firefighters responding, 11 helicopters, 40 pieces of heavy equipment and 67 structure protection crews. The Bradley Creek wildfire is considered held at 2,634.8 hectares.
