THE DAVAO City Police Office (DCPO) has stepped up security measures and police visibility on campuses following successive threats targeting local schools. Station commanders reported that the situation on campus remained peaceful and normal, with no untoward incidents observed. They visited Teofilo V. Fernandez National High School in Barangay Indangan, Buhangin District, following an Aug. 6 online threat made by an account using the handle “Degital Bomer.” During the visit, Madria met with school principal Elma P. De Castro and faculty members to conduct safety assessments and discuss proactive measures against potential security risks.
