The sample ballot for Jamestown residents has been released by the secretary of state’s office. The Democratic ticket has 11 races, seven which are contested, while the GOP has candidates running for seven offices. Unaffiliated voters who cast ballots during the primary no longer need to disaffiliate after voting; they will automatically remain independent. Another Jamestown resident, U.S. Sen. Jack Reed, is being challenged in the primary by Connor Burbridge and Luis Munoz. The seventh and final contested primary on the Democratic side is for the District 13 senatorial committee.
