⤢The Office of the President announces, with deep sadness, the passing of Ambassador Dick Esparon, a distinguished statesman who dedicated more than three decades of his life to the service of Seychelles. “Seychelles has lost not only a distinguished public servant, but I have lost a close personal friend,” said President Herminie. “Dick gave himself fully to every role entrusted to him, and he did so with humility, loyalty, and an unshakeable love for his country. Ambassador Esparon’s career of public service was marked by extraordinary breadth. Most recently, he served as Secretary General of United Seychelles, guiding the party with steady hand and unwavering commitment.
