Nine Entertainment has appointed experienced media agency leader Leigh Terry to its board. Terry brings more than 25 years of leadership experience and most served as the APAC chief executive for IPG Mediabrands (now Omnicom Media), where he led a workforce of more than 5,000 people across 16 markets. “Nine is an iconic Australian company with an unmatched suite of assets across publishing, streaming, broadcast and outdoor,” said Terry. Terry has contributed to the wider industry for decades and is currently an advisory growth committee member of the national not-for-profit Women in Media. Terry was among the high profile casualties of Omnicom’s takeover of IPG Mediabrands last December.
