Since Oct. 7, a lot has been written about the growing threat of antisemitism. This sad reality suggests something rather sobering: The current trend we are facing has now become the new normal. Giving into despair, however, is not an option, and every so often, a bit of welcome hope shows up in the headlines. Glimmers of such hope could very well be the beginning of reversing the harmful trend that has currently taken the world by storm. We could all use more allies who are unafraid to speak out against bigotry in all of its ugly forms.
