Rebecca Jones wants to bring efficiency to the County if she is elected to the 5th District board of supervisors seat currently held by Jim Desmond, who is retiring this year. As mayor, Jones advocated an “efficiency department” that, she says, has worked very well and which she would like to bring to the County. Every single thing you can do within an organization to make it perform better and work better helps.” She wants to return to the days when “we were a well-run county, when we were spending money the right way.” Asked specifically what she would say to Valley Center residents, Jones declared, “We want to help preserve your quality of life.
