In response to the Acorn’s editorial, “When America knew why they fought,” I salute Len Zerlin’s bravery, while combating an evil enemy 80 plus years ago in Europe. Today our brave military is combating a different evil enemy. An enemy that routinely murders thousands of its own citizens for opposing the rulers. An enemy that stones women and gays to death for not adhering to religious doctrine. Bottom line, our warriors today are fighting evil and are not dying in vain.
