Marc Porlier is charged with uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm to a person under section 264.1 of the Criminal Code, the RCMP’s Federal Policing Eastern Region announced Monday (Aug. 10). He allegedly made the threatening remarks in an email sent to a senator, “among other individuals,” RCMP said. Police said the investigation was launched Aug. 5 by the RCMP’s Integrated National Security Enforcement Team.
