A long-awaited street repaving and sidewalk repair project in East Oak Park has been delayed by about six months, the Ventura County Public Works Agency reports. Oak Park MAC Vice Chair Brianna Adams asked how residents would be notified and how much time they would have to comply. He said a recently completed Ventura County sidewalk project cost about $11 per square foot. The next Oak Park Municipal Advisory Council meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, in Room G9 at Oak Park High School. Tom Hansen is a 32-year resident of Oak Park and a regular attendee at the Municipal Advisory Council meetings.
