Since retiring, Sister Maggie has baked bannock for the soup kitchen three times a week and has earned a reputation as the “queen of recycling,” gathering recyclables regularly with others in the community.
At age 78, Sister Maggie is already planning to walk another trail when she turns 80, and she told her audience that she will be around helping for some time yet.
