Paralakhemundi,(Tarini Prasad Panda):SKCG(Autonomous)College, Paralakhemundi,has audacious & accumulated recognitions,being the second oldest institution of Odisha. Now hemisphere turned lucrative to signify the importance of this institution, where teaching staff in various departments is in gloomy state.Status of Autonomous is only a meagre recognitions,where only pouch formed like newly established colleges.Post Graduate Departments though destined yet stealing those past recognitions disappeared. At present out of 73 posts still 26 teaching staff of various departments yet to be filled up.Moreover 4 teachers have been transferred, where only single teacher replaced on recent Higher Education Department notification.In English department crucial situation found where need of 4 staff,that too in Chemistry & Life Science too hazardous positions where 3 each teaching staff are at blank.Moreover those above departments covered PG level too. Such traumatic situation crisps least quality teachings too.Likewise on various departments teaching staff positions aggravated. Parents & guardians too shocked on such scarcity of teaching staff.No sooner at least these staff strength to be remained balance,said President awarded teacher & alumni of this College Binod Chandra Jena.At least remained long demand of University status still paralyzed that should be declared to honor late Maharaja’s contributions,he added.
