James Edward “Jimmy” Rickman of South Boston, passed away Monday, Aug. 10, 2026, at the age of 82. Born on March 15, 1944, in Halifax County, he was the son of the late Emmett and Dorothy Rickman. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife and son, Ruby Weatherford Rickman and Jamie Rickman. In addition to his parents, wife, and son, he was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, Henry and Jean Rickman.
