Islamabad: Relief and rescue operations by the Pakistan Army are continuing in rain-hit areas of Upper Chitral district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. According to Radio Pakistan, torrential rains have damaged roads, bridges, and houses in various areas of the district. Flash floods caused extensive damage to roads, streets, agricultural land, and houses in different areas. During the incessant rains, personnel of Frontier Corps Khyber Pakhtunkhwa North promptly reached the affected areas and launched relief activities to provide necessary assistance to the affected people. Local residents appreciated the timely relief and rescue efforts of the Pakistan Army and acknowledged their humanitarian spirit.
