ENID, OK - Technical Services announced they will be testing and programming all the school zone beacons throughout the city this week, to prepare for the upcoming school year, including Chisholm Public Schools, Pioneer-Pleasant Vale Schools, Enid Public Schools and all other school beaconswithin Enid city limits. During testing, motorists are reminded to always obey all traffic laws and all posted speed limits in all school zones, even during testing, and to drive with extreme caution. If you speed in a school zone you'll pay a fine. • Take extra care to look out for children in school zones, near playgrounds and parks and in all residential areas. As a reminder, speeding in a school zone is a $215.00 fine and overtaking a stopped school bus is a $565.00 fine.
