XRP ETFs Have Locked Up 900 Million Tokens. Why Hasn’t It Squeezed the XRP Price?
['Sam Daodu']
24/7 Wall St.
Despite XRP ETFs taking nearly a billion coins off the market, why hasn’t all that locked-up supply squeezed the XRP price?
However, that comes to just 1.49% of the 62.5 billion XRP in circulation, leaving 61.5 billion in everyone else’s hands.
Bitwise runs the biggest of the five XRP ETFs at $302.39 million, followed by Franklin Templeton’s XRPZ at $244.54 million and Canary’s XRPC at $236.64 million.
Deposits have dried up alongside it, with the monthly average down to about 3.6 million tokens, marking the lowest in CryptoQuant’s records.
At today’s price, buying that many coins would cost around $300 million a month, and the XRP ETFs have averaged $43 million a month across 2026.
