Developed with the Wholesale and Retail Sector Education and Training Authority (W&RSETA), the YUETP addresses youth unemployment by blending training, business ideation, and seed capital. Oliver added: “By integrating a targeted, action-oriented entrepreneurial programme, it provided a pathway to reduce unemployment and inspire entrepreneurial behaviour. To address the specific needs of graduates, a future Graduate Mentoring Incubation Programme is envisioned as a spin-off from the YUETP.
