M&E specialist ACES files administration notice

M&E contractor Avon Combined Electrical Services (ACES) has filed a notice of intention to appoint administrators just a year after opening a London office to target bigger and more complex projects.
The Bristol-based specialist lodged the notice at the High Court, giving the company temporary protection from creditor action.
Founded in 1988 as an electrical contractor, ACES spent nearly four decades building its reputation across the South West before broadening into mechanical services, fire and security, HVAC, renewables and general works to become a full MEP contractor.
After securing a string of projects across London and the South East, including high-end residential work in Knightsbridge, ACES opened a permanent London office last year and expanded its leadership team.
ACES operates across commercial, healthcare, education, defence, infrastructure, residential and public sector markets for both main contractors and end clients and is understood to employ over 50 staff.
