Firefighters stop forward progress of Lancaster-area brush fire

Crews in the Antelope Valley responded to a brush fire that burned near Lancaster on Monday.
The blaze was reported some time before 4 p.m. in the area of West Avenue H and North 90th Street, the Los Angeles County Fire Department said.

WATCH HERE WATCH HEREFirefighters were able to successfully stop the forward rate of the fire by 6 p.m., officials said.
An evacuation warning has since been downgraded to an advisory for the following area:West Avenue G and south of West Avenue DOne firefighter suffered a minor burn to his hands while responding to the emergency.
