Shivam soon discovers that Reema is in love with another man, Bilal and wants to escape with him. Aliyah was the woman Shivam loved before he became the emotionally closed-off man seen at the beginning of Awarapan. When he discovers that she has a boyfriend, Bilal, Shivam reports it to Malik. After escaping from Malik, Shivam seeks refuge at a monastery and begins planning how to get Reema and Bilal to safety. After helping Reema and Bilal escape, Shivam stays behind to deal with Ronnie and his men.
