Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has accused former governor Gboyega Oyetola of using his relationship with President Bola Tinubu and the influence of the Federal Government to intimidate his supporters ahead of Saturday’s governorship election. The governor alleged that Oyetola was still unhappy over his defeat in the previous election and had resorted to using federal influence against members of his political camp. He’s using me because he’s a cousin to Mr. President,” Adeleke alleged. Adeleke further alleged that federal influence was being deployed to intimidate voters and political actors in the state. “Why are you using federal might to arrest, to intimidate Osun people?”
