Chadds Ford Township resident had the opportunity to speak out about possible runoff problem from a proposed commercial development in Concord Township Wednesday evening. But the ability to express these concerns came during a joint session of the Chadds Ford Planning Commission and the Chadds Ford Township Board of Supervisors. While Chadds Ford Township has party status and is represented in the process in Concord, there isn’t much it can do to influence the outcome. Chadds Ford has also written letters to PennDOT to request a new traffic study and to oppose the Ridge Road access to the site. The bulk of the almost two-hour session centered on stormwater runoff and possible runoff from a proposed car wash for the development.
