PennDOT has announced the following weather-dependent road projects that could affect drivers in the greater Chadds Ford area from Aug. 10 to Aug. 14. The same above ground facility replacement will also cause lane closures on Gap Newport Pike between Gap Newport and Penn Green Road, and Newark Road through Aug. 21. • Road construction will cause daytime lane closures on Route 1 between Hoffmans Mill Road and Creek Road in Chadds Ford Township through Sept. 4. • Road construction will cause daytime lane closures on Creek Road between Route 1 and Upper Bank Drive in Chadds Ford Township through Sept. 4. • Gas main installation will continue to cause daytime lane closures on two streets in West Chester through Aug. 31.
